We have a fleet of modern and powerful tugs, positioned at major ports in the country. We provide docking and undocking of ships in ports and buoys, transportation of materials and supplies, towing and supply of lubricants, fresh water and other requirements of the ships.
Petrolera Transoceanica responds promptly to any ship in distress or in need of assistance. We are experienced in emergency towing, refloating, wreck removal, stabilization or firefighting operations, covering the entire region.
Petrolera Transoceánica is committed to quality service and safety for its customers, through the BASC Certification. BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce) is an international business alliance that promotes safe trade in cooperation with governments and international organizations, encouraging a culture of security and protection in international trade, handling the management system in control and security of the supply chain, generating trust and credibility. The BASC certification is based on compliance with 20 requirements and standards related to cargo safety, personnel safety, process safety, technological safety, awareness of possible threats, among other issues. This certificate will be for the Petranso office and the five tugboats in the port of Callao. This is an important effort made by Petranso, after being the first company of the group that is managing this important certificate, since it has obtained the BASC certification on May 2018 and be part of a select group of companies that provide a quality service to the supply chain in international trade. The SERTICA system is a program created by Logimatic S.A., a company based in Denmark, and whose main function is to act as a management platform for everything related to Maintenance and Purchasing in fleet ships. Today, the team of SERÉRTICA in the company, is made up of 10 of our co-workers, the ones that I detail below: Ronny Diaz and Jorge Baudouin, who lead it, Pilar Bendezú, Mari Carmen Choy, Blanca Verano, Julio Palomares, Johnatan Cubas, Jonathan Medina, Juan Mendiola and Juan José Ledesma. This project begins in October 2016 and is estimated to be fully implemented both on ships and in the administrative office ending in 2017. SERTICA is software that will undoubtedly allow an adequate management of the maintenance of the ships, the purchase of spare parts and goods for a safe operation.
